A tired & worn Ven studies late into the night by candlelight. What he's searching so intently for, anybody's guess...
Usually my pieces have about a 3-4 day turn around before I start to hate on them. This one maybe sooner though because of a lot of the complexities I struggled with. :/ In the end, I'm not so sure all the simple lines really worked out well with a semi-realistic look. I know there's a way to achieve a happy medium but it's something I think I still need work figuring out. Anyway, next piece I do I think I'm going to try a much simpler treatment. I'll be less likely to feel like killing myself this way ;D
Also, I think I've finally decided I'd really love to present the story for these two as a comic sometime.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
